Who was Thales?
Born in 624 BC in Asia Minor, Thales (THAY-leez) of Miletus is regarded by many as the Father of the Sciences and of Western Philosophy.
Thales of Miletus provides an excellent example for students. He mastered the fields of mathematics, science, politics, business and philosophy, and developed many theorems still held today. Simply put, he was a master of thought.
Thales Academy emulates his model of classical excellence, providing unparalleled breadth and depth of education. We believe that education is more than the mere accumulation of facts; it is a journey in which students come to know and pursue truth.
